Tarot of the Ancient Minchiate

The mysterious Ancient  Minchiate is perhaps the oldest of the western world's card decks. A forerunner of the French game of Tarot and American Bridge, Minchiate is a popular card game in Italy.

As with other decks of cards, the Minchiate can and are used for divination.

Instead of the standard 78-card deck, the Minchiate has 97! The additions of the twelve signs of the zodiac, the four virtues, and the four elements to the standard 22, what are called, trump cards  is what makes this deck special.

This allows for a more carefully nuanced and in depth reading.
